The recommended fee by the Australian Psychological Society is $ 228 for a session. However, at MindStrong the cost of a session for private clients is considerably less at $ 200 (low-income earners may be eligible to receive bulk-billing services).

Under the Better Access to Mental Health Care Initiative, Medicare provides rebates (of $ 84.80/124.50) for psychology services for up to ten sessions per calendar year. To access this program, you will need a referral letter and a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP.

Eligible clients (pensioners, those in financial hardship) can receive bulk billing services at MindStrong at no cost to them. Please contact us to see if you are eligible.
